The Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, Alberta is a leader in applied education, delivering relevant, skill-oriented education to more than 31,000 people annually. Centre for Newcomers

Established in 1988, the Centre for Newcomers (CFN) provides training and collaborative support services to promote integration, cultural diversity, and community participation. In the past fiscal year, CFN served over 67,000 newcomers. At CFN, you will find a full suite of cost-free services and programs for immigrants and refugees in Calgary, including Settlement & Integration Services; Career & Employment Services; Language Programs; Ethnicity Catering work experience; Children & Youth Programs; Multicultural Peer Mentorship; Volunteer Development; Volunteer-led Refugee Integration; LGBTQ+ Newcomer Settlement; Mental Health Workshops & Referral Assistance, Seniors Programs, Financial Empowerment Workshops, and a host of Vulnerable Population Services CFN is a key not-for-profit resource centre with a mandate to not only work with newcomers towards their personal settlement and integration goals, but to also equally work with the broader Calgary community to welcome them. It is CFN’s mission to support newcomers and the receiving community in becoming diverse and united, through services and initiatives that create conditions of success for newcomers and that foster a welcoming environment in Calgary. We view the integration of newcomers as a two-way process of experience, influence and impact between newcomers and the communities that welcome them. Ellii is a comprehensive digital platform that empowers English language teachers around the world with high-quality content and interactive courseware. Ellii can be easily integrated into an existing curriculum, or it can serve as the primary source of teaching materials for both in-person and online classes.

New Language Solutions

New Language Solutions is a charity that creates technology-based solutions to assist newcomers and adult learners in achieving their language learning and settlement goals. The organization achieves this through the development of Canadian-centric resources that support online or blended (hybrid) learning with computer-mediated activities, and by training language educators to engage clients using open-source technologies.

GAMIFICATION (ADD ON) - $100

A scavenger hunt will be set up where attendees will be searching for gamification codes. Gamification codes can be hidden on sponsor/exhibitors websites (you will need to set this up on your end), embedded in session streams, announcements, push notifications, social media posts, and other locations. Attendees will enter codes, track their progress on a leaderboard, and collect prizes

Push notifications are the optimal way for sponsors to make important announcements and promotional offerings to attendees directly.

IN-KIND DONATIONS

In-kind donations to the ATESL 2025 conference are also welcome and will be acknowledged during the conference and on the conference webpage. We are currently seeking donations of gifts for our speakers and door prizes for our attendees and welcome all manner of gift cards. Sponsorship Payment Contract

To show your support for the ATESL 2025 conference, please send an email to president@atesl.ca indicating your preferred category of sponsorship.

The benefits of sponsorships have specific timelines and will begin upon receipt of payment. All sponsorship payments must be received before the payment deadline of September 19, 2025. If payment is received after this date, certain benefits cannot be guaranteed due to time restrictions and logistics. Benefits for sponsorship will be according to descriptions listed above. Every effort will be made to accommodate requests for alternative benefits to those listed above.
