Light refreshments and snacks will be provided, but attendees are responsible for their own lunches. A list of food vendors and restaurants are provided below.

Venue & Location Information

Join us at the University of Alberta, Education Buildings: 11210 87 Ave NW.

Registration opens at 8AM. Make sure to pick up your nametag and find out how you can enter for the door prizes!

Registration, the symposium opening and keynote speaker will be held in ED 122 which is in the Education building, south wing. Coffee, tea and light snacks will be available.

Our keynote speaker, Dr. Jennifer Foote will present in Ed 122 at 9am, and sessions and exhibits will begin at 10:30AM in Education South on the 2nd floor.

We will have wayfinders and signs available to help you find the session rooms.

Parking and Accommodations

Parking is available in the Education Car Park which connects to the Education buildings.

An alternative option of getting to the University of Alberta would be to park your vehicle at a Park & Ride location and take the bus or LRT there.

If you are travelling from outside of Edmonton to attend the Symposium and require accommodations, we recommend The Campus Tower Suite Hotel, which is one block away from the University of Alberta campus

The University of Alberta has several food service providers available in very close proximity to the Education buildings which we encourage our attendees to visit for lunch.
