Contract ELL Instructor

South Central Adult Learning Society is part of the provincial Community Adult Learning Program or CALP.

Supporting the adult foundational learning needs in Rocky View County, SCALS is looking for a contract ELL instructor to facilitate our non-credited, intermediate ELL course for CLB 2-3 learners in Airdrie.

This informal, learner centred program is scheduled for Tuesday/ Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 pm, 24 classes starting September 24 and ending December 17, 2026.

Compensation is $35.00 per instructing hour plus some prep time allocation. TESL certification and/or adult ELL teaching experience preferred. Please apply with resume and references. Police check also required upon hiring.

Note: This is a contract position for our Fall 2026 term with the possibility of extension into subsequent terms.
