Alberta Routes - EAL Community Educator Microcredential!

Alberta Routes is excited to announce the launch of our newest learning opportunity: the EAL Community Educator Microcredential!
What is a microcredential?
Microcredentials are short, flexible learning opportunities that build practical, job‑ready skills. They are recognized through digital badges—credentials you can easily share with employers, on resumes, and across professional networks.
About the Alberta Routes EAL Community Educator Microcredential
Offered free of charge through NorQuest College’s Alberta Routes Initiative, this microcredential provides tutors and instructors with hands‑on strategies to support adult English language learners across the four essential skill areas: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. It’s an excellent opportunity for anyone supporting newcomers or adult learners—whether you’re a volunteer tutor, a classroom instructor, or someone looking to enhance their skills in community-based language education.
